Various notes and tips on finding hooks to hang your hat.
SO, YOU WANNA PLAY A CHILD OF HIS?
First thing to note is that every kid of his has been concieved on the night he did something EPIC and MYTHIC. Think Hercules's feats, or Perseus. Slew that unslayable beast, wrestled that river god, etc. The first player of Gerard had the player petitioning for a child character to toss ideas at him, to keep things varied, and I'm continuing that. Note that it doesn't have to just pass my muster, it has to pass the propco of the shadow as well, so you may want to consult with them before pitching it to me. I can only give a thumbs up from Gerard's view, not whether, say, Alhambra has a mythical siren from legendary water caves under the desert.
Second thing to note is that Gerard has done these things in every land in the GC and in some beyond. As such, kids from anywhere are possibility...in fact, it's encouraged that they not be from places already established (right now, there are known children from Kitezh and Tanus). While any ap will be considered, reccomended actors to get the juices flowing are folks like Matthew Macfadyen, Lucy Lawless, Michael Pread, Craig Bierko, Peta Wilson, Bruce Campbell, Mark Dacascos, Angela Basset, Keith Hamilton Cobb, Jessica Biel, Antonio Banderas, Danny Trejo, Claudia Black, Peter Dinklage ...all of these have something about them that could be seen as Gerard's offspring.
NEVER MIND THAT, I WANT TO JOIN THE NAVY.
Working on this. Need to sit on Caine until I get my half of the navy back from him.
